Masks are required on land although not required in ib water. After one group plunges and clears the beach, the next group will assemble on the shore.
Registration happens at Gallien's Beach on Plunge Day. Hand sanitizer will be available in 2 locations.
Southern New Hampshire is experiencing a surge as Covid benefits are set to expire. Plunging will begin around People who come to support the Plungers will arrive with them and escorrs with them, which will greatly reduce crowds on the beach and congestion in the parking lot.
It will be contact-less. We will NOT have a huge gathering onshore as usual, a countdown, and a mass of exuberant plungers charging into the lake all at once.
We will plunging into the lake in small groups instead. Our on-shore volunteers will organize the process and provide directions when you arrive.
